Hello, my name is Jully , I am an avid Mustang lover, Jill, has suddenly become critically ill with a serious, life threatening illness. We are doing everything we can to save him, but we need help.

Jill is a 3 year old Mustang and, without a doubt, one of the sweetest, kindest and happiest horses I have ever met. From the very beginning, Jill seemed born to love domestic life and human companionship. He is eager to learn, incredibly talented, and has been an absolute joy to train. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his gentle, affectionate personality.

On Saturday, September 26, Jill was slightly less enthusiastic about eating his evening grain than usual, but otherwise seemed completely himself.
On Sunday, September 27, he was still bright-eyed and rambunctious despite the rainy fall weather. By that evening, however, Jill suddenly became lethargic and developed a very high fever. Banamine was administered in an attempt to bring his temperature down. It took hours to have an effect and only provided relief for a couple of hours before the fever returned with a vengeance.
First thing Monday morning, September 28, I immediately brought Jill to my veterinary clinic. He was placed in isolation, and a multitude of tests were performed while supportive care was started. Based on his symptoms, a tick-borne illness was initially considered the most likely possibility, so treatment was started while we waited for test results.
Unfortunately, Jill did not improve. For several days, he remained in essentially the same condition, with recurring high fevers. When his test results came back, they were negative for everything that had been tested. The mystery continued, and additional blood work was sent out.
Meanwhile, Jill and I continued fighting the fevers around the clock. We used Banamine, Tylenol, icing of his hooves, constant monitoring, and endless TLC in an effort to keep him comfortable and bring his temperature down. There have been countless sleepless nights spent watching him, praying for even the smallest sign of improvement and desperately hoping that the next test would finally give us an answer.

Then Jill began developing neurological symptoms, including ataxia and light sensitivity. He was immediately brought back to the clinic, where he has continued to receive constant supportive care, additional treatments, and extensive testing. Unfortunately, so far, the results have remained inconclusive while his condition continues to deteriorate.
Jill veterinary expenses have already surpassed many thousands of dollars, and we still do not have a definitive diagnosis or know whether we will be able to save him.

He means the absolute world to me. Jill is an extraordinary horse who deserves the chance to have the many years ahead of him that a healthy 3-year-old should have. He is still just a baby.

We are fighting for Jill from every possible angle and giving him everything we can. But I cannot do this alone.

Please help me fight for Jill life.
