Help Roman Come Home

Our sweet Roman needs a little help.

After slipping in the mud, Roman suffered a dislocated shoulder. Thankfully, the vets were able to successfully put his shoulder back into place this morning. Now we’re in a waiting game—making sure his shoulder stays where it belongs and waiting to see if there is any nerve involvement as he begins to heal.

Roman is going to need a couple of months of strict confinement and recovery. Because of that, he cannot come home until we have a safe place ready specifically for him. He cannot be housed with the rest of the cows during his recovery, so we need to purchase/build a new covered cow shelter and stall where he can safely heal.

We’ve set this fundraiser at $13,000 to help cover Roman emergency veterinary bills, continued medical care and the new shelter we need in order to bring him home and give him the best possible chance at recovery.

We never expected to be facing something like this with Roman, but we’re going to do everything we can for our boy.

So many of you love Roman right alongside our family, and we’ve already received so many messages asking how you can help. Whether you donate, share this fundraiser, or simply keep rooting for him—we appreciate it more than we could ever explain.

Every bit of support gets us one step closer to bringing Roman home.
